Kaitlyn Flick is currently an architectural designer at LAB Design Collaborative in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating with High Distinction from the University of Colorado's School of Environmental Design, she gained experience as an architectural designer doing primarily residential and restaurant design for a year in Phoenix, Arizona. She is now currently looking for full-time employment in either the Denver/Boulder area.
Kait specializes in restaurant design and authentic placemaking/branding. She enjoys the spatial programming of interior architecture as well as curating the composition of exterior facade design. She is interested in exploring materiality and texture as it pertains to sustainability and aesthetic intrigue. Her best skills include artistic discern, graphic visualization and creative troubleshooting. She is invested in 3D modeling technology and understands the importance of rendering tools such as Lumion, V-Ray and Revit to help portray vision and scope to a client. She is interested in gaining experience with emerging technologies such as computational parametric design and hyperrealistic visualization tools that help bring vibrant and sustainable solutions to life on both individual and larger urban scales.
