Sheltering users from ocean backlash while setting them up to catch the perfect wave, the Pesca Launch Surf Pod provides a climbable design with ample daylighting and a biophilic shape that morphs to the undulating waves of the ocean. The Pesca Launch Surf Pod functions as a surf launching zone and floating place of respite for surfers during activity. A modular paneling design was implemented to create a gradient of function, with the back modules of the form opaque to shelter surfers from waves, and the front modules open for daylighting and for users to climb.
